You may know Andie (@andiecrook) as a presenter on radio. Over the years she has been on air at the Nova FM network, Fox FM, Triple M and now Mix 101.1. What you may not know, is that she’s also a podcaster, voice over artist and creative writer.
Some of her favourite parts of radio presenting are chatting to her listeners on-air, interviewing celebs and interesting people, and of course, the tunes- especially Aussie stuff!
Throughout her career, Andie has presented outside radio broadcasts from a variety of locations including Mt Hotham, Melbourneʼs Spring Racing Carnival, Federation Square and the Australian Open, and has interviewed many big names while covering events such as the Aria Awards Red Carpet.
In between everything else, Andie runs her own successful voice over studio and has been the voice of many national and international campaigns and projects for radio, TV, cinema, the web and more.
When she isnʼt working, Andie is a huge fan of shopping, fashion, chocolate, live music, cinema, cocktails, soft-cheese and pigging out (in a sophisticated way of course!) at high-tea. (Update: A couple of those ‘hobbies’ are on hold at the moment because she’s pregnant!)
Andie’s excited to have recently launched her new podcasting venture, the Waffle Network.
The Waffle Networkis the home of a variety of entertaining podcasts hosted by Andie and a team of fabulous Australian talent. You might recognise a few personalities from their appearances on The Miss Andie Podcast – her previous magazine-style interview show.
The first podcast to be released by the Waffle Network is The Feel Good Podcast, presented by Andie & Joey Toutounji (Feel Good TV – Foxtel-Austar, Amazing Race Australia) discussing tips and advice about health, fitness and motivation.
Waffle Music launched in June 2013, with each episode featuring an interview with a musical artist or band and a couple of their songs – sometimes performed live in the Waffle music studio.
